We believe that belonging to a church is enlistment into the work of restoring the world God created.  The church has a vocation to put God’s new creation on display, so to join it is to join God’s cause, his movement, and his revolution.  We believe that the body of Christ has been entrusted with the sobering and significant responsibility of faithfully partnering with God in demonstrating the reality of heaven on this earth.  The Bible describes these partnering relationships with God and his people as covenantal relationships.   So we describe becoming a member of a church as joining a covenant community.

Our covenant is with God and with each other.  We are committing to fulfill our calling together.  Our membership covenant is based on the way of Jesus.

If you are interested in joining our covenant community we recommend:

1.    Attending our regular worship gatherings and classes and interacting with our current members to understand the nature and culture of what it means to join this community.

2.    Prayerfully consider the membership covenant and constitution of this local community.   Download a copy of our constitution.

3.    Demonstrate your understanding with “Who we are” and “How we do who we are” as stated in this constitution, and your commitment to live out the membership covenant by filling out the covenant membership application.  

4.    Submit your application to the church office or elder team.  You will then be contacted by the elder team or member of the covenant community.

5.    New members will be welcomed and received publicly in a gathering of our church.
