Mills Kids is dedicated to nurturing our kids to know and love God and His story, and for them to live for Him as a unique part of His continuing story.   Our wonderful volunteer team is here also to support you in your discipleship at home, fully aware that the most influential people in a child’s life are parents. One of our goals is to foster a community of families who intentionally live out our faith in our homes, where we “impress God’s ways on our children. Talk about them when we sit at home and when we walk along the road, when we lie down and when we get up” (Deuteronomy 6:7).

 

In the fall, we will begin some new things in our Sunday morning spiritual formation classes in order to help kids and parents hide God’s Word in our hearts; incorporate worship, Bible reading and prayer into our days; and together teach our kids about God’s amazing story of restoration.

 

I am excited to both serve as the director of the Mills Kids ministry and to support you in nurturing our children to Know, Love, and Live for God.

 

I look forward to being your partner and friend in this important ministry. And of course, I love spending time with your kids.
